Critical Need For Volunteers
Often, the biggest issue limiting Girl Scout involvement is not having enough volunteers to help run the troops. While we suggest all families take an active role in their girl's troop, we do need one to three people willing to coordinate the year's activities.
How can I help?
We have a need for troop leaders who can help facilitate a troop of girls over the course of a year. Current leaders tell us it is a rewarding experience to watch girls learn and grow, and they love seeing the difference they make.
You can also become:
Troop Cookie Manager
Friends and Family Volunteer (Chaperone/helper)
Service Unit Volunteer
Why do I have to sign up to volunteer?
We require all adults who regularly help with the troop, or who are entrusted with the girls, to be registered volunteers. By completing membership, the background check, and a brief orientation video, we ensure that our program is safe, consistent, and that you receive important communications.
